eBlast : E-Mail Capabilities
 | eBlast is a web function that uses the web server and your accumulated list of email addresses to
send virtual "mass mailings" to a known audience.
You should only use this capability within a developed customer contact policy. You don't want to
spam the audience. As one recent Harvard Business Review article said, "You want to woo them, not stalk them". |
There are a few considerations to mention: Not everybody receives graphically formatted emails, so you'll want to provide text-only messaging as well. Also, a law named COPPA gives restrictions and penalties regarding minors and email programs. Finally, your eBlast messages should always include an opt-out function.
